Neutron radioscopy using electronic cameras with (1) zoom capability and (2) high detectivity
This paper reports work performed at two different neutron radioscopy systems (NRS), at the High Flux Reactor (HFR), Petten and at the Forschungs-Reaktor München (FRM-1), Munich. Both work on the same principle, using electronic cameras with 512 by 512 pixels resolution and ZnS(Ag)+6LiF scintillation screens. The first part of the paper describes an extension of a low light camera with an optical zoom; the second part relates to the development of a high performance cooled CCD camera and imaging system.
