Recent developments in high temperature thermodynamic properties of nuclear reactor oxide fuel
This paper presents a review of the experimental data obtained to determine the thermodynamic equation of state for fuel in the fluid state, as well as laboratory measurements of selected thermodynamic properties of UO(2) at very high temperatures. The object of this study is to formulate a validated general theory of the equation of state for uranium dioxide in both the solid and liquid state.
