Sixth international conference on fusion reactor materialsFunded under: JRC-FUSAFE 5C
The majority of the 431 contributed papers at the sixth international conference on fusion reactor materials were submitted by the four partners in the ITER project. The main subjects covered included radiation damage, characteristics of austenitic and ferritic/martensitic steels, the effects of neutron irradiation and plasma disruption on high-heat-flux materials particularly in the limiter and divertor, and studies of tritium/hydrogen effects and tritium release.
