Alpha-particle induced collective effects in reactor-relevant plasmas
The stability of MHD modes is affected by the presence of a population of energetic particles. The aim of this work is to give an overview of the most important stabilities for reactor-relevant plasmas, with particular attention to ITER. The areas covered are internal kink stability and gap mode stability.
