Behaviour of intrinsic carbon and laser blow-off injected nickel in Tore Supra during ergodic divertor activation
The behaviour of intrinsic carbon and laser blow-off injected nickel is studied in Tore Supra during ergodic divertor activation. This paper explains the increased injected Ni confinement time tau(p) during ED activation as the effect of a peripheral transport barrier in the 0.8 - 0.9 a(L) region, in agreement with independent measurements.
