Internal magnetic turbulence measurement in plasma by cross polarisation scattering
This article presents the cross-polarisation scattering diagnostic which gives the first response to electron thermal diffusivity by measuring the internal magnetic turbulence in the Tore Supra tokamak. The principle of the experiment is presented and the role of different physical processes is investigated. A strong correlation of the measured signal with additional heating is observed.
