Sensitivity analysis of chemical kinetics reaction systems : A new approach
This paper describes a new approach to the sensitivity analysis of chemical kinetics reaction systems. The methods used until now have been local and global sensitivity analyses. The new method involves a simpler computational technique and allows the uncertainty in model prediction to be quantified and compared with observations. The relative importance of each input parameter (kinetic constants and initial concentrations) can be quantified.
