Use of supercritical fluid extraction in the analysis of polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans
This paper reviews the use of supercritical fluid extraction (SFE) in the analysis of polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and dibenzofurans (PCDD/F). The method of extraction is described and the choice of the SF is explained. CO(2) and N(2)O are the main supercritical fluids used in the analysis of PCDD/F. The results of the extraction are compared to data obtained from literature on the analysis of the same compounds.
