Ergonomic errors : A guide to causality and redesignFunded under: ECSC-ERGONOM 6C
This report is an extract from the final report produced for the project on ergonomics recommendations for control stations in the steel industry. It takes the form of an ergonomics checklist and is organised as follows: (i) a design parameter is listed; (ii) possible errors are noted; (iii) causes of the error are indicated; (iv) design approaches to obviate the error are suggested. The various design approaches can be developed from standard ergonomics data handbooks, a list of which is provided.
