Abstract

The inventories of existing car adaptation systems have been combined with the functional requirements of the various DSN groups according to the driving task definition developed in previous stages of the project. Following a methodology it is indicated whether there are: (i) gaps or insufficient solutions; (ii) requirements for streamlined solutions; (iii) many different solutions for the same requirements; (iv) systems appropriate for many user groups; (v) integrated solutions enabling a disabled driver to use a car autonomously from a place of origin to a place of destination. Where gaps or insufficient solutions exist (even with the use of existing aid systems) priority lists for DSN issues were developed.
