Abstract

Part I of the deliverable is the GDF extension for STORM which has been created for applications that are not yet (completely) covered by the current GDF feature, attribute and relationship catalogues. Links between static digital map and dynamic traffic data are provided. GDF 2.1 together with the GDF extension is used for data acquisition and the definition of a STORM-internal data model and transfer format. Part II focuses on a concept which can integrate dynamic traffic data into a GDF based traffic data base. For this purpose, traffic data (for example, traffic and road conditions, road works, diversions, traffic prognosis, status and duration of messages etc.) is exchanged in the Inntal Triangle field test, applying the RDS/TMC standard message list. In order to describe the location reference, each event is attributed to one or several links.
