Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

This volume presents the results of the FFMI/WHO-EUR co-sponsored work sessions on case-based telematics systems applied to equity and ethics in health. It formulates a combination of four themes to produce a coherent scheme for future actions of public authorities in health care. These four components are: the ethical principle behind equity in health care; case-based or population measurements of equity; communication of this information at a wide scale, using telematics; developing actions to improve health care and its delivery through resource tools and quality control.
