Abstract

This publication is one of a series which represents the results of work within the QUEST concerted action over the last four years, with the objective of developing spectroscopy as a rapid method of food quality measurement. This work focuses on five working objectives: sign interpretation, mathematical treatment of instrumental data, instrument and experimental design, production of standardised spectral exchange format, and the establishment of an information base about available foods and their spectra.
