Abstract

This publication contains the proceedings of a conference held as part of the Competitiveness of Agriculture and Management of Agricultural Resources programme 1989-1993 (CAMAR). The contributors and delegates at the conference represented growers, processors, marketing managers, economists and scientists. They discussed the present state and avenues for future development of the soft fruit industry across Europe. Problems and possible actions for progress on a Union-wide basis were identified whereby production of soft fruit could be stimulated for the benefit of many less favoured areas.
