The workshop report summarises the current situation of pollination by both wild and domestic species of bees in Europe, as well as its future development. The workshop was divided into four working sessions with the participation of 20 experts from various member states. The first session examined the current entomophile situation within the EU, the second session dealt with the use of bees as pollinators, and the third session was devoted to agriculture and pollination insects. This was followed by a debate to determine the main points of pollination by apoids.
