Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The protection of intellectual property rights on electronically stored and transmitted information is critical for the exploitation of RTD results and the success of the information market and the global information society. A four-part study dealing with copyright problems on electronic delivery services and multimedia products has been prepared by independent experts of the Legal Advisory Board. This second part reports on reprographic reproduction rights, the licensing of information, and the role of the library as an interface between rights owners and rights users.
