Problems of integration for large scale systemsFunded under: JRC-WORKENV C
This paper addresses some of the integration problems in large scale systems which have arisen during the diagnostic experiments carried out on a thermoelectric power plant. Three essential parts of the plant are considered: (i) subsystems and interconnections; (ii) input-output electrical power; (iii) control and diagnostics. The paper presented provides an operator with a very accurate formal modelling of the examined subsystems and interconnections, an outline of the integrations involved and the solutions to some of the more difficult ones. It is a step towards providing a homogeneous instrument for the immediate evaluation of the plant condition.
