ALE stress update in transient plasticity problems
Algorithms are presented which allow the extension of the ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) formulation, well established in the hydrodynamics field, to structural materials with memory, namely, nonlinear path-dependent materials. The formulation is implemented in a general computer code for fast transient dynamic analysis within an explicit time integration stencil and is used in the simulation of forming processes.
