Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

This report briefly describes the measurements of environmental radioactivity performed during 1993 by the site survey group of the Radioprotection Division at the Joint Research Centre, Ispra. Data are given on the concentrations of Sr-90, Cs-137, HTO and other radionuclides in precipitation, air, waters, herbage, milk and radioactive effluents. The presence of low contamination in the environment remains a consequence of the nuclear accident at Chernobyl and fall-out due to nuclear experiments in the atmosphere.
