Abstract

In several practical applications in plasma physics, only one viewing direction is available to collect data; the data then have to be inverted tomographically. Analytic solution methods are given for analytically known isocontours such as concentric and non-concentric circles and ellipses. A method is presented to invert the data, when there is no analytic solution possible or when the isocontours are only given numerically.
