Abstract

This report contains five papers presented at ISFNT-3 by members of ENEA. The first paper discusses two designs of blanket for DEMO: the helium-cooled ceramic BIT (Breeder-INSID-Tube) and the water-cooled liquid Li17Pb in cylindrical modules. Other papers analyse a tubular solution to the first wall problem for ITER-EDA, the impact of the passive stabilisation system on the ITER first wall/blanket during a disruption, the bulk shielding benchmark experiment at FNG, and the characterisation of the source neutrons produced by the FNG.
