Abstract

The ESTER versions of ICARE-2 and VICTORIA-92 have been coupled together. It is now possible to perform calculations with this code so that core degradation, fission product release and thermal hydraulics are calculated by ICARE-2 and the transport of fission products calculated by VICTORIA-92. VICTORIA calculates chemical equilibria and condensation as well as aerosol agglomeration and deposition. Generally the ICARE timestep is longer than the VICTORIA one. Information is passed from ICARE to VICTORIA every ICARE timestep. The report includes an input manual and a set of instructions for the post-processing routines.
