Fission modes and barrier penetrabilities in nuclei with 90 less than or equal to z less than or equal to 114
For fission mode calculations, a computer code has been implemented at the IRMM. The potential energy landscape is calculated in a five dimensional parameter space of the generalised Lawrence shapes. Reasonable predictions of shape isomeric half-lives in the light actinide region are presented. Predictions for 239U and 233Th are in good agreement with recent experimental results.
