Measurement principles for traceability in chemical analysis
This paper covers the harmonisation of metrology in chemical analysis. It explores the possibilities for bringing a stronger metrological foundation to chemical measurements and specifically describes a role for reference materials in the traceability of chemical measurements to the international system of units (SI). It is concluded that more precise interpretation and validation is needed for chemical measurements.
