Abstract

The DELTA-B computer code is a user friendly computational tool, designed to include the 3-dimensional geometry of buildings into a 3-dimensional structured grid to be applied in a subsequent transport calculation.
Input to the code only requires the grid and a description of the roofs of the buildings. The code then identifies all the boundary surfaces and calculates all necessary geometrical information (as cell volume porosity and cell surface permeability) usually required by 3-dimensional transport codes.
The present version of the code serves as an input processor for the ADREA code but the output routines of the code could easily be adapted to serve other 3-dimensional transport codes.
In the present report the code structure and running instructions are described in detail to serve as a manual for the user. r.
