The principal goal of the T-project on molecular identification of new plant genes was to develop methods for identifying and isolating genes of agricultural importance using the benefits of the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The publication of the Arabidopsis meeting contains transcripts of the presentations. The topics covered are floral induction, seed development, embryogenesis, gene replacement, gene tagging, physical mapping, progress on chromosome IV, and the C. elegans sequencing project.
