Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The aim of the Biotechnology programme is to improve the understanding of living processes in the light of possible future uses. The information package is for those wishing to submit a proposal for a project under this programme. It describes the selection criteria for projects, and participants are given guidelines on the drawing up of proposals. Also contained in the package is the work programme which has evolved from the experience and results gained in the previous and ongoing RTD programme. It works on three levels: (i) concentrated means - a multidisciplinary integrated approach; (ii) concertation efforts; (iii) objectives addressed by means of horizontal activities. A supplement contains a work schedule and forms for the presentation of proposals.
