Diagnosis of the increasing UV-B radiation levels : Towards a European monitoring networkFunded under: FP4-ENV 2C
The major aim of this project was to evaluate various methods used to make spectral measurements of ultraviolet radiation incident at the earth's surface. The project used a diverse set of instruments operating independently at sites throughout Europe. This publication brings together the results of the different campaigns, producing a UV network of spectrometers. The tolerance limits for the calibration of UV spectroradiometers were measured in order to set standards for all the instruments being used in Europe.
