Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

Abstract

The EUREKA initiative is the main channel for support for R&D activities closest to the market: projects originate from industry, business or research laboratories in a 'bottom-up' approach. This guide aims to aid such potential initiators of R&D cooperation projects to identify the most appropriate framework for project support, be it Community programmes, COST or EUREKA. It gives the basic principles of each of the above possibilities, selection criteria, type of support and contact details.
