This workshop report has been produced jointly by European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods (ECVAM) and DGXXIV (Consumer Policy Service). 42 conclusions and recommendations are made concerning the development and validation of nonanimal tests and testing strategies, in the context of the Sixth Amendment to the European Union Cosmetics Directive.
