In Vitro Methods in Regulatory Toxicology: The Crucial Significance of Validation
Nonanimal tests and testing strategies offer solutions to many of the problems caused by the current over reliance of regulatory hazard prediction and risk assessment on the routine, check list application of animal tests. The critical importance of validation in relation to the regulatory acceptance of such nonanimal tests is outlined.
