Acoustic Agglomeration of Titanium Dioxide Aggregates as a Function of Acoustic Power
This paper deals with acoustic agglomeration of TiO(2) aggregates alone. In contract to droplet-droplet or aggregate-droplet coagulation, TiO(2) aggregate-aggregate agglomeration deals with the interaction of fractal structures. This modifies the geometrical conditions of impaction, and possibly hydrodynamic interactions between particles. Thus, the characteristics of acoustic agglomeration of solid aggregates as a function of acoustic power were studied and compared with results obtained for glycol fog.
