A one-dimensional model is developed to describe the motion of dislocations within a slip pane during creep in a single crystal superalloy. The most relevant creep mechanisms are incorporated in a simple way which allows for future refinements. The model parameters are obtained from micromechanical literature values and by calibration with experimental creep data. Computer simulations show good agreement with creep curves for other stress levels.
