High-temperature resistivity measurement equipment for metals and compounds
Equipment for high-temperature resistivity measurements in a glove box on samples with lengths in the range 4 mm to 10 mm is described. A new type of electrode holder was developed to apply the contacts to the sample using the four-point contact configuration. This equipment permits measurements between room temperature and about 1000 K to be made. Ni-metal resistivity was measured for calibration. Results obtained on PuS, PuSe and PuTe are presented.
