Policies for regional development and foreign investment in north African countries
This report is concerned with regional development and foreign investment in North African countries. It deals with the imbalance of development in countries such as Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. The section dealing with foreign investment looks at the lack of European investment and examines the consequences of such a policy on the national debt of each country. This report underlines the importance of relations between European and North African countries, affected disadvantageously by a changing world economy. New policies advocating foreign investment are essential to help promote a pluri-national system which would ease the removal of these imbalances.
