Ion channelling in spinal single crystals
Channelling of (4)He ions of energies ranging from 2.0 to 7.53 MeV in spinel single crystals was studied. It was demonstrated that by the judicious choice of the channelling direction and the incident beam energy the analysis sensitivity for a given sublattice can be significantly enhanced.
