Environmental policy in Europe : Industry, competition and the policy processFunded under: FP3-ENV 1C
This book arises out of a project in the research area focused on sustainable development. The project was co-ordinated by François Lévêque of CERNA (Centre of Industrial Economics at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris). This is a comprehensive piece of work including comparative studies covering four European countries and a number of important industrial sectors from agro-chemicals to packaging waste and taking into account eco-audit regulations. The book contains articles by a number of the project participants as well as synthetic chapters. It is an example of high quality research in a policy relevant sector. The Directorate-General for Science, Research and Development is very pleased to be associated with this work.
