Abstract

In the present work we have examined the lithium like spectrum of beryllium, Be(II), in the wavelength region from 2000 angstroms to 7000 angstroms by means of the ultraviolet visible KT3A and KT3B spectrometer systems for the pumped divertor phase at the Joint European Torus (JET). A number of new transitions depopulating highly excited states such as n=8 to 10 have been observed for the first time.
