Abstract

In the Everest project an assessment has been made of the quantitative impact in the long term on the performance estimators due to the variability and uncertainties affecting the various items entering into the performance assessment for a repository for radioactive waste (high level as well as medium level). The work includes model parameter variability, conceptual model differences, scenario characteristics, and future states of the repository system. Disposal concepts in three different host rock formations, clay, granite and rock salt have been considered. A summary of the project and its main results are given in this report consisting of common aspects, work on clay, work on salt, work on granite and general conclusions.
