Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

The European Commission has produced and promoted, in its collection "The benefits of Community R&D", a series of methodological guides with the following objectives: to accompany the market research process at the lowest cost and at the lowest risk; to allow research findings to be disseminated and converted into industrial products and services; to provide technical teams with methods and know-how in the fields of information, marketing, value analysis, intellectual property and partnership with a view to making their projects more competitive. These guides are addressed to project heads in enterprises or laboratories which are preparing for, or already participating in, cooperative research and development operations, especially in the framework of a European project consortium.
This publication is one of the series:
Technological partnership guide. This offers assistance in evaluating and surmounting the risks of research and development by cooperative means, in seeking and selecting partners and in defining and negotiating the framework within which research is to be conducted and exploited.
