A decision support system for emergency response to major nuclear accidents
A methodology for the optimization of the short-term emergency response in the event of a nuclear accident is presented. The method aims at an optimum combination of protective actions in the presence of a multitude of conflicting objectives and under uncertainty. For this, a multiobjective optimization approach is adopted, and the �efficient frontier�, ie all emergency plants that are not dominated by another in all criteria, is determined.
