Stationary regimes of improved confinement in Tore Supra
One of the main goals of the physics programme conducted in Tore Supra is to explore new aspects of continuous tokamak operation in enhanced plasma regimes in terms of stability and confinement. This paper described the stationary non-inductive regimes obtained in Tore Supra with the separate or combined use of lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) and fast-wave direct electron heating (FWEH).
