A closed partitioning and transmutation (P&T) cycle was demonstrated for a minor actinide containing fast reactor fuel and subsequent reprocessing. The differences in the occupational radiation doses were deduced. From the observed transmutation half-lives and the losses in the reprocessing it can be concluded that a P&T in fast reactors is feasible.
