Community Research and Development Information Service - CORDIS

During the last decade, handling and transportation of radioactive materials has become more and more difficult and expensive. We have developed and installed in our laboratory various pieces of equipment for basic physical property measurements. This may allow us to increase our capability in the characterization of prepared samples in house and to study their fundamental physical properties in order to select the most interesting new materials and to ship only the best possible characterized samples to external large facilities for specific studies.
