  • Investigation of plasma-material interaction under high transient heat flux in the experimental fusion device TEXTOR and comparative investigations with an electron beam

Abstract

First wall components of future fusion facilities will be subjected to high transient heat loads by incoming hot plasma particles. In this work the investigation of the interaction of various carbon based materials with a hot tokamak plasma and comparative material testing in an electron beam facility are described.
