Although Phebus-FPT-0 was not intended as a bundle degradation experiment the amount of degradation produced was much greater than had been seen in any other experiment that started from a bundle geometry. In this report we summarize calculations for core degradation in FPT-0 submitted by 12 different organizations using 4 different codes. In general the codes failed to explain the widespread and early liquefaction that occured in the experiment. Hydrogen was, in general, underpredicted and this was, to some extent, because many codes assume that one zircaloy melts it can no longer oxidize. Fission product release was earlier than would have been expected with the trace-irradiated fuel used in the test.
