INCO-COPERNICUS information packageFunded under: FP4-INCO-COPERNICUS
This information package is a second call for proposals for the INCO-COPERNICUS programme a specific RTD programme of the Fourth Framework Programme in the field of cooperation with third countries and international organizations. International cooperation will be developed in dialogue with all parties concerned and will be based on the principle of mutual benefit in order to establish long-lasting relations between Eastern and Western Europe. The main aim of this activity is to enable the countries of Central Europe (CCE)/New Independent States (NIS) to be associated with the generation of knowledge and innovative technologies needed to solve their specific problems and to achieve sustainable economic development. Technical areas and research topics included in the programme are: environmental protection; health; non-nuclear energy; advanced communications and telematics; information technology; industry and material technology; agro-food industry; and social sciences.
