Abstract

In 1994-1996, measuring units have been checked with regard to the quality of calibration and maintenance state of the measuring set-ups, in the QAP/2 programme.

A mobile laboratory with a test atmosphere generator may generate different harmful gases. The nitric oxides and the SO(2)-concentrations are measured after having taken a calibration. To a concentration of NO and SO(2) two different concentrations of ozone are added. Every level of concentration is presented to become conditioned and measured. The relative deviation of the measurements is defined with regard to the sampling system and the state of the gauge. The reasons for deviation are summarised.

It is necessary to set up a quality chain, to guarantee that the standards can be put down to the measuring techniques and to compare the measurements regularly on a national and a European level. el.
