Abstract

First of all, document described the concept of a Tokamak, especially that of the TEXTOR-94. It described methods of refilling like the admission of gas and pellet injection and further possibilities of use. Following this, the document deals with models of ablation, especially the model of neutral isolation. In this chapter, the author also deals with the problems of heat build-up in the ablation cloud, magnetic effects, the influence of plasma isolation, the asymmetry of ablation, and modulations in the ablation light. In the following description of the experimental structure the pellet injector, injection oriented methods of diagnostics, ablation oriented diagnostics as well as diagnostical methods of the TEXTOR are dealt with. Subsequently the problem of striations is described, especially the dynamics of pellet isolation, the effect of magnetic islands, two-dimensional models of ablations, and multipellet-injection experiments. In the following, the injection in strongly heated plasmas is dealt with, especially the problems of ablation in NBI-plasmas and general plasma properties. The influence one can make on plasma properties is the topic of the last chapter which deals with the development of electron temperature and density as well as the improvement of energy inclusion.
