The following areas of statistical analysis are discussed:

- The nature of Science, how one can reason about the Universe, and how Statistics fits into all of this;
- The importance to some authors and editors that some statistical method is used, regardless of whether it is fitting, or if its results have anything useful to say about the experiment;
- A concrete proposal for journals, even thought they are not primarily concerned with Statistics which states that any papers on subjects such as validation should be passed for editorial inspection to a statistician who should be a member of the Editorial Board;
- Some more general points about why Statistics is vital for Science, if experiments are to be meaningful;
- Statistics and prediction models.
